The heart of the community

Newington Community Centre was built in the 1970’s to provide a hub for our local community.

The centre was run by the local authority with the support of local residents until July 2007 when Newington Community Association (NCA02) took over the running of the building from Thanet District Council.

The community is a charity run by the association to provide a large bright spacious hall for the community and surrounding areas to hire for events, meetings, parties and other occasions.

Private hire, events, parties and more.

HAll hire

The community centre is a large open space with a fully equipped kitchen and small garden area.

Table and chairs are available and bouncy castles are permitted for indoor use.

Toilets are available with disabled access and baby changing facilities.

Hall hire is £20 per hour with a £50 returnable deposit.

*Deposit will only be returned at the end of the booking, if the hall is left as found.

*Deposits must be paid at least 14 days before your booking date.
